Students are using @Eweather13 and various other media outlets to predict the amount and type of precipitation. They are also predicting whether we will be on time, delayed, or off school on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. Students are also using the NAM and Euro model, along with their understanding of low pressure systems, to form their predictions.

MS-ESS2-4: Develop a model to describe the cycling of water through Earth’s systems driven by energy from the sun.

Students used heat lamps as energy to mimic the water cycle. Variables were adjusted to increase the amount of condensation forming on their plastic wrap clouds.
